Technical Software Support Specialist


Interware Development Company is a rapidly growing software manufacturing company supplying financial, motor vehicle, licensing, point of sale, online services, and credit card services to municipalities mainly in New Hampshire. We are looking to expand our team to include an enthusiastic, highly motivated, self-reliant, and professional Technical Software Support Specialist. This position is on-site at our Amherst, NH facility. You will be responsible for answering phones and supporting customers on our host of software applications. Experience with software from a technical perspective is required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and chats to aid customers through to successful completion of transactions
  • Manage and maintain all client relationships to ensure client longevity with the company
  • Keep in contact with current clients; manage and update client data in Zoho, our customer management software
  • Present product knowledge and expertise in training, implementation, and sales environments. This includes but not limited to trade shows, conventions, webinars, onsite individual and group training, public speaking engagements, phone calls, email, etc.
  • Communicate with customers regarding current satisfaction status and sales of additional products
  • Offer ideas and product improvements to development team based on customer interactions
  • Document and log any software issues encountered
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Supervisory or lead experience is strongly desired
  • 2-4 years technical support experience, preferably in computer software
  • Strong working knowledge of various computer software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail, focused on quality of work
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task and demonstrate initiative
  • Must have outstanding customer service skills and experience
  • Ability to work independently
