Interware Development, a leading software company with a mission of building innovative tools to help government and citizens work together more efficiently, is proud to announce the appointment of Chris Ialuna as the new Director of Operations. In his new role, Ialuna will work with cities and towns across the region on developing software solutions for their everyday business needs.
Ialuna comes to Interware after 10 years as the Administrator of The Registration Bureau for the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles. He brings to the company an in-depth knowledge of how state government works, and the day-to-day needs of town clerks and officials. “We are excited to bring Chris on board to enhance our working relationships with government entities and help lead our organization as we continue our steady growth,” says Interware Chief Technology Officer Gary Conley.
With his expertise in process improvement and project management, Ialuna is looking forward to streamlining company operations and building relationships with clients. “We are at an interesting time right now,” says Ialuna. “The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a new perspective to many tasks for the average citizen—we can’t do things the way we used to. I am excited to help develop tools so people don’t have to, say, wait in line at town hall to make a payment. We live in a day and age where we’ve had to adapt, but from this will come new tools that will make our lives easier in the long run.”
While at the New Hampshire DMV, Ialuna oversaw the entire auto and boat registration division for 234 cities and towns, and worked with dealerships and inspection stations, and federal, state, and local law enforcement. Pursuing his passion for business, in 2017 he earned his Black Belt certification in Lean management techniques from the NH Bureau of Education and Training.
